Project 52: wk 4

The theme for week 4 was "soothing repetitions". What is more soothing and repetitious than a rocking chair? I also got to use one of my new actions!! Pretty excited about that :-)

David + Megin {engaged}

I am looking forward to working with David and Megin as they plan their July wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by a reception at Ulen Country Club. Here's hoping July is MUCH warmer than their January engagement session!! Congrats you two!

Paint, paint, and more paint! I have been debating which color to paint my office for months... well the decision has been made and it's done! This week's theme "shades of grey" fit perfectly into my week of choosing

from all of these samples for the right color.

So, the theme for week 2 was illustrate a song. Soooo many songs to choose from and then decide what image I wanted to capture. Here's what I ended up with for the week.

It was a cold, but beautiful and sunny Saturday for Chad and Heather's big day! Heather has to be one of the sweetest people I have ever met. It was a privilege for me to capture them as they took their vows. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Project 52

One of my goals for 2011 is to start and keep up on a blog for my business. Knowing I would need some help in sticking with it, I have decided to complete "project 52". I will take one picture a week for the entire year and then blog about it. I got this idea from Jodi with MCPActions. Some weeks I will follow the theme she gives out and others will just be a favorite picture of mine from the week.



Week 1: Something around the house.

Trying to figure out what to make for dinner led me to this picture.




Of course I will also be posting pictures from photo sessions throughout the year too!
